The Bill of Rights states:
"Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
I think this is scarier than it seems at a first glance.
We have just seen a citizen removed and arrested for utilizing their 1st amendment right of free speech. If this can happen basically live on tv, in the middle of the capitol on the night of the SOTU then it can anywhere at anytime.
Anywhere at anytime. Think about that. This is a precendant setting action that needs to be addressed by all americans.
Just because the president disagrees with something does not give him the right to take away a citizens right of free speech.
Impeachment now!
