I have not said a damn thing about the MSOC controversy. I did write one diary
Wrong Maryscott: Time to Empower Ourselves which was on the recommended list for a few hours.
If you're new to this insanity you can read my insignificant contribution here:

But, it withers my brain to witness the human hours, the energy, the time, committed democrats have used to hurl insults at each other. Support or criticize, do whatever you want. But have any of you asked yourselves is this the best use of my time, energy and resources?
Jesus fucking christ.
Years ago, I was involved in grass-roots Democratic Party politics. Electing local officials. I was very young in those days.
Let me tell you what I witnessed was eerily similar to this crap on Kos. It was stomach turning then and it's stomach turning now. Adults fighting over stupid, bullshit nonsense. Did they give a rat's ass about who really won? Not for a minute, it was all about exquisitely disfunctional, childish schoolyard fights.
I happen to agree with Kos. Does that make me some sort of mindless sycophant? No. It makes me a person who has read what others have said and then formed a judgement.
The reason I happen to side with Kos, has little to do with Maryscott O'Connor and everything to do with how each individual chooses to spend his time between now and November 2.
Did any of you hurlers of mud read what Wes Clark said? If we don't take back the house in November, the consequences will be catastrophic.
So about this bullshit, it happens on Kos, it happens with diddlysquat local elections and it happens at the highest levels.
So as Rome burns, let the fighting continue. I guess we have little else on the agenda.
And, as I am about to leave for the funeral of Betty Friedan, allow me to leave you with her favorite expression about stupid things: Fuck. This. Shit.
