Well, once again, Joementum showed up on the show of his "pal," Sean Hannity. Hannity was touting that he would be more than happy to hold a fundraiser for Conservatives for Joe in CT if Joe would allow him to. Joe did not commit, but had some more fun things to say about the Democratic party.
More Joe and Sean love below:
Of course, Hannity went on and on about how the Democratic party has been hijacked by the "extreme left-wing," people such as Kerry, Kennedy, and Hillary (amazing to me that I, an ex-Repubican, see Hillary as a DLC sellout, and he calls her "hard left") Joe tsk-tsked along with Hannity, about how those left wingers are going to lose the elections for the Democrats in November because they are so far out of the mainstream. He agreed with Sean that we are in World War III now, and that we have to support the President and this war.
To his credit, he did disagree with his best buddy: he said that we need some kind of judicial review on a wiretapping program, but then showed himself to be a diehard Republican-licker when he said that the law can be easily changed to accomodate Bush. He said this is a "nonissue," easily solved with changes to the law, and it is taking away from the real war on terror. No mention of breaking the law, or the 4th Amendment, or impeachment for breaking the law and spying on Americans. Oh, no, of course not.
They ended their lovefest with Sean Hannity offering to fund raise for Lieberman, and how much Lieberman's wife and kids love Sean. Joementum said they love Sean because Sean "is so good to their dad and their father." The love was filling the air! Joe never defended ANY of his fellow senators, he chuckled along with Sean as he made fun of his fellow Dems, and he was very careful to not get into a tiff with Sean, who he called a real "pal."
I am going to pledge money to Lieberman's primary opponent right now. It is one thing to disagree with your fellow Democrats. It is another thing to speak out about it publicly. It is an entirely different and more drastic action to go onto a program where the host calls your fellow Democrats and constituents "evil," "the enemy," and treasonous. Another thing entirely.
I am going to do all I can to help get rid of Joementum.
