Bloggers seem to be falling for the trap of analyzing all the intricate details of the NSA wiretappings instead of cutting right to the heart of the problem. It doesn't matter if the UAE supports terrorists or that they had ties to 9/11 highjackers. It doesn't matter if the Bush administration is giving this to an Arab company. In fact, making Bush argue about it being an Arab company is exactly why this is wrong.
Though, the president had it right and it slipped past all your noses. It doesn't matter if it's an Arab company or a "Great British" company. The real problem is how this deal was brokered. None of the president's cabinet members that should have been informed of the deal (and review it) knew the details of it until the press latched onto the story. They all lied to save their tails. They tried to pull another fast one on the American people, but were caught red handed. That's all that matters. The administration needs to answer to that. Don't allow them to change the questions.
Hah! Thanks for pointing out I screwed up NSA with Ports. If anything, doesn't that make all this more validated? My mind is too weak to resist being mangled by the explosion of corruption. I've added a poll regarding this.
