My basic proposition is that to concentrate solely and individually on the motives/interests of each and everyone of the participants in this UAE melee, is conductive to a myopic view of what is in reality a perfidy, the global implementation of a highly pernicious and pervasive economic doctrine/system/structure, mixed with fervent religion/social ideology.
With the implications associated with safety from terrorism, child exploitation, sex slavery, exploitative prostitution, sharecropping kind of exploitation, brutal totalitarian regime, institutional money laundering, total lack of Gov't oversight other than the one protecting the elite's interests, state-sanctioned drug smuggling and trafficking, monetary hegemony, strategic position for oil supplies control, etc.
Notwithstanding the deserved, valued importance of these individual issues, the de facto emergence and imposition of a global corporatist state, begs for both our focused attention to it, and it's proper placement and classification in our long list of the most urgent priorities.
For, in the final analysis of our current dilemma, what matters most is that we have a full, common understanding of a most likely future geopolitical scenario, posing sound propositions that rest on generally accepted presuppositions to arrive at logical conclusions so as to foster our ability to implement corrective methods of effective intervention in the most dynamic components of this predicament.
A conspiracy? Of course, one in which wearing the tinfoil hat is superfluous because it is a conspiracy fed and driven by implicit common interests.
After my previous postulations, I'll delve in posting a few elemental propositions in a partial and random order:
Bushco and the Rule of Law, is an oxymoron.
Neocons and Economic Global Domination is an stated doctrine.
You cannot have true freedom without economic self-dependency.
Free enterprise equals unabated commercialism.
WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, et al, are all steps to Free Enterprise.
Armed intervention is a long practice to protect economic interests - A widely accepted policy.
Arms dealing, drug trafficking, smuggling (All inclusive), need an unimpeded road for distribution.
Money markets are more profitable without restrictions.
Taxation bites into profits.
Gambling, drug dealing, prostitution, slavery, human trafficking, etc., work best when under tolerant institution.
Big moneyed interests always go to where the profits are best, disregarding correctness as in "When in Rome, do as Romans do"
Outsourcing to free enterprise zones, while profitable to some, it has tremendous negative economic and social consequences to both, the outsourcing from and the outsourced to, entities.
Labor, environmental and human rights regulations are anathema to Corporations.
The perennial dream of Corporations is to have a country in which all of the above can be carried out, legally.
The supper rich crave and demand a cheap and servile labor force.
Dubai is the continuation and culmination to the Pre-Castro Cuba.
All of the above, plus what you add to it, constitutes the first act of the Corporatist Global State play.
