The NRSC is upset at Minnesota Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar for advertising on dailykos. Says kos is full of extremists, hate-filled lefties, and Klobuchar pulled the ad due to prussure. I have a hunch the ad expired, and now they think they can claim victory. Wingnuts.
Mark Kennedy the republican challenger has a press release
http://markkennedy06.com/... raised these questions:
"The removal of Klobuchar's ad from Daily Kos raises several questions. Did Ms. Klobuchar pull her ad due to pressure after yesterday's release from the National Republican Senatorial Committee? Was Ms. Klobuchar's ad simply on rotation and that is why it isn't up today? Taking money from those associated with Daily Kos would seem to be consistent with taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from trial lawyers and the ultra-liberal EMILY's list. "
With all the latest polls showing both Democratic candidates leading Mark Kennedy while keeping him around the 42% mark, they must be running scared. When the best thing the can say for there guy is "Amy goes for support from fringe dailykos" it truly is a sad state of affairs for them. I noticed today they attack Klobuchar because Senator Mark Dayton announced his support for her and there was no big celebration. Claiming she is running from his record. I didn't realize that Dayton has a big effect on how Klobuchar will do in the senate. Once again is that all they got?
Lets not forget who Mark Kennedy got big support from: $1 Million in a Bush fundraiser, $300,000 from Cheney, $ 30,000 from Tom Delay's pacs, Senator Conrad Burns and the whole Jack Abraham lot that have been running the counrty into the ground. Kennedy also tried to distance himself from Bush claiming he is a independant guy. To bad he votes 97% of the time with the White House.
2006 is going to be fun.
