I just walked out of the 11am screening of V FOR VENDETTA. I went in with an open mind and wanted to be entertained.
Alan Moore made the right decision not to support this movie and to refrain from having any more of his ideas butchered on the big screen.
Aside from the self-importance it tries to hit you over the head with in every scene (failing miserably, I might add), it was incredibly slow and boring, politically sophomoric, lacked any kind of dramatic tension, and will manage to offend just about everybody.
Of course, the people it is most likely to offend are those who think that for eight dollars, you should be entitled to see a good film instead of garbage.
