Have you ever seen the movie Braveheart? In that movie Edward Longshanks say "If we can't get them out, we'll breed them out." Of couse he wasn't talking about gays but I believe the same logic can be applied to this issue. Selective breeding.
Some will joke about how the Christian Right (the primary opponents of gay marriage) don't believe in evolution and all the things it entails... including selective breeding. That could be a problem. lol. But here's the deal. You don't have to believe in evolution to believe in selective breeding. Take a look at dogs. Whether it's a pit bull or a poodle, it's still a dog. They have simply been bred to enhance certain traits. Racehorses are another example. House cats are yet another example. In fact, the evidence for selective breeding is all around us. And it really doesn't have much to do with evolution. You could believe that storks deliver babies for all I care... it really doesn't matter.
Just to be clear, I have nothing against gays. But I do believe they are aberrant from a genetic point of view. They have a trait that is self-defeating. If we just treat them as normal human beings... another example of our diversity, then the problem will take care of itself. The gays will remove themselves from the gene pool. What we have done through oppression is force them to try and fit in. They try and lead a normal life. By doing this, they end up passing on their DNA. So the solution is simple: Let them marry each other, and they won't pretend to be hetero. They won't try and live a hetero lifestyle, which often includes having a child and thus passing on the "tainted" homosexual DNA. They can adopt. But if you believe homosexuality is a genetic defect, then there really is no problem with gays adopting children.
Uh oh I've just highlighted another Christian conundrum... many people believe homosexuality is some sort of devil's punishment or infection or something. So naturally these people assume that it could be spread to the next generation, even through adoption. Hooo... how to deal with that? And then there's the people who think that all gays are child molesters. Both notions are nonsensical, but they need to be addressed in order to appease the zealots. Like I said. Hooooo... Yeah I guess it is a mistake trying to reason with religiously indoctrinated people.
