YearlyKos registration currently costs $125 for the lowest level,
BUT NOT FOR LONG, on April 1, we're kicking the lowest price up to $150. This still doesn't cover all of the costs for each attendee, but it is an increase and we wanted to give folks a fair chance to register while the cost is still lower. You can also register at the $180 and $360 levels to help off-set the costs of the conference.
Even though I am on the organizing committee, I have to admit that I hadn't gone through our entire
Agenda until a few days ago. And we've only got some of panels set right now, but they are pretty outstanding and from the rumors I've heard, you can expect every panel to be at or above this level of expertise and interest.
The Economic Panel features a member of congress, a professor, a business consultant, and 2 DK regulars (one whom founded her own company and current lives in London and the other who is a tax and business lawyer).
The Science Panel has landed four people who aren't just experts, they are bloggers! This panel doesn't just feature liberal scientists, it features scientists who blog and want to see internet advocacy reach it's potential and put real science back on course.
We've got more over at YK.org on the Agenda page, I encourage you to check it out and keep checking back as the agenda gets released.
And these panels are not the large keynote events, they are the panels of which there will be about two dozen. These sessions that I mentioned just happen to be some of the first that we've got everyone confirmed and can announce. But they are representative of the caliber of panels and guests that we will be announcing in the coming weeks and months.
Regarding the big speeches, you all know now that we've got Harry Reid, but he to is not a final destination, he is a harbinger of things to come. The fact is that getting people to confirm and set their schedules is a difficult task, and made 100 times worse when that person is an elected official. We're in contact with a lot of the people that you want to hear from and they want to be a part of this event, and as we are able to, we'll be letting you know who they
are.
While I've got your attention why not give you some quick links to make your life that much easier?
