You just can't make
this shit up. Honest to God, will these people never stop? Howard
Kaloogian one day tells us that the streets of
Baghdad are peaceful; the next day, our Dear Leader
tells us that Saddam Hussein is to blame for the mess in Baghdad!
President Bush said Wednesday that Saddam Hussein, not continued U.S. involvement in Iraq, is responsible for ongoing sectarian violence that is threatening the formation of a democratic government.
I mean, COME! ON! Can't he at least try to put this one off on Bill-freakin'-Clinton, for pete's sake?
Iraq's instability "is the legacy of Saddam -- a tyrant who exacerbated ethnic divisions to keep himself in power." [snip]
"Iraq is a nation that is physically and emotionally scarred by three decades of Saddam's tyranny."
- and NOT by three YEARS of war and occupation at the hands of the United States - THAT had nothing to do with it.
What a tool.
So let's see, so far the situation in Iraq is the fault of the media, the Democrats, Al-Qaeda, and now, Saddam Hussein. Who's next?
