It's no longer just in Iraq where President Bush needs to keep his schedule a secret. Last night students at Stanford learned that Bush would meet with neocons today at the Hoover Institution, in the center of campus. A protest was quickly organized, and today around 1000 people chanted and blocked the road leading to Hoover Tower. One man had a sign that read "I'm a Republican and ashamed of the GOP!" Police attempted to clear the road, at one point bringing in a fire truck and arresting three students who refused to move. But the authorities' efforts were for naught as the
President was forced to delay his meeting and relocate it to the home of former Secretary of State George Shultz.
Keith Olbermann featured the story on Countdown, but other media outlets have been mum.
