So I'm sitting around, hating America, supporting the terrorists and reading Al-Jazeera
http://english.aljazeera.net/...
... just for the pictures and perspective on the Iran thing, you understand. I decide to read the editorials, maybe read their statement of ethics, maybe write 'Go Islam' on their comment board..
But, I forget some fact about America, and so go to the Fox news webpage to check it. While I'm going for the 'holding my nose' record, I'm thinking about Al-Jazeera's ethics statement.
I start to look for Fox's statement of ethics to compare the two. I look some more. I look for their comment board, to see maybe if I've overlooked something. Nope, nothing there, either. Can't read other reader's opinions.
I look for Fox News' clearly marked, "Opinion" section... every news service surely has THAT. Nope.
Fox has NO 'ethics' and NO 'opinions.'
I think about Dave and Dan, two of my high school friends.. formerly interesting, alive people... now Repubs, and now rearranging deck chairs on the Hindenburg.
What will it take to coax them out of their 'enchantment?' Bush being arrested and tried on felony counts? A major recession and loss of their jobs? Pictures of a naked Bill O'reilly and a falafel?
Can Fox news watchers ever understand that they are in a religious cult?
