This is my first diary.
After a search, I have seen nothing written on this here at dkos.
This HAS to have resonance, but far too quickly in my opinion it has gone down the news hole.
I'm still shaking from it days later.
I am blown away - I must not be a good learner - by the gossamer-thin layer of overt, sickening racism and anti-American hatred, spilling out of Fox News' John Gibson's mouth the other night (Fri, May 12th) and if you listen closely to the light-hearted chuckles of the staff in the background. This has somehow not made a big ripple in the blogosphere.
Bottom-line: he is telling his viewers, in citing a recent report, that if they don't have enough babies that "You know what that means? Twenty-five years from now the majority of the population is Hispanic."
Oh no! Not that!!
Gibson specifically means more babies from white people. He doesn't hide it.
Perhaps he doesn't quite get that we are all Americans. He's scared of his own kind being taken over in some way or manner as if Hispanics might not be up to his real-America standard/potential.
It's pathetic. He either knows what he's spewing or, or... nah, he knows what he's spewing. I can almost see his audience nodding their small heads in agreement.
