If I were running for Congress, or if I had a say in the choice of language used in a liberal version of Fox News, I would insert the word "Civil" in the phrase "Iraq war" always. I mean: every single time. As in "2 more US soldiers died today in Iraq's Civil War". Don't even discuss whether it is accurate (which it is). Just use it.
I would also use the word "inflation", talk about price increases (not just in gas prices, but a lot of that too), send camera crews to supermarkets to check prices, look at "everyday families" utility bills EVERY DAY.
That should drive you-know-whose numbers deep into the twenties (yeah! more ponies.)
So, remember: because of the republicans' policies we are entangled in a foreign CIVIL war (repeat with me: "Iraq's civil war, Iraq's civil war, Iraq's civil war"), and our families are dealing with INFLATION. ("Stagflation" also works.)
