From the YearlyKos staff:
On Saturday, June 10, at YearlyKos, Christine Pelosi of Challengernet, (who also happens to be House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's daughter), will be moderating a panel of netsroots candidates, i.e., candidates who have reached out to the netroots and have organized their political and campaign strategy, in part, on appealing to the netroots.
To make this a true netroots panel, however, it wouldn't make sense for Christine Pelosi to make up all the questions herself, which is why she has asked me to ask YOU, the rank and file Kossacks out there, to come up with intelligent questions to ask the netroots candidates at this panel.
The three confirmed candidates are
Eric Massa,
Brian Keeler, and
Joe Sestak. And there is a possibility that there will be one or two additions.
What Ms. Pelosi would like from you for these questions, however, are not individual local things relating to these specific candidates, but rather broad "meta" questions regarding how these candidates approach their philosophy of life and their relationship with the netroots. As an example of the type of question Ms. Pelosi has in mind is, as she stated to me: "Dante reserved the second circle of hell for neutrals, i.e., those who refuse to take a stand. How do you think that concept applies to 21st century politics?
Whew. . . tough question. I think you can see that challenging and thought-provoking questions will work well here.
So, Christine Pelosi has assured me that she will read this diary, and more importantly, read all your comments to this diary. So, if you have a good question for these candidates, post it in comments to this diary. Ms. Pelosi will glean the best of the questions below, and use them at the candidates forum.
Oh, and to make sure we get a large number of questions for Ms. Pelosi to choose from, it would be greatly appreciated if you recommended this diary.
