"Good news, Mr. President, the new Pew poll is out. It shows your approval is just where it was just after teh election with one important segment of the American people." To put a little less spin on that: Dubya's approval among liberal Democrats was at 6% in December 2004; it's still at 6%. Every other reported segment of the population shows a drop.
Details after the jump.

Overall, the approval reads:
----------app--dis--d/k
Dec. '04--48---44--- 8
Apr. '06--33---56---11
Change--15---12---- 3
The changes are fairly consistent across all reported categories. The few groups who reported 20% or more change (I'm listing disapproval as ";D" when that was also greater than 20%):
White men, 20% decrease
65+ 20%
Men 50+ 23%; D 21%
Family income:
$50K-$75K 21%
$30K-$50K 21%
The South 20%
White Evangelical Christians 22%
Moderate & Liberal Republicans 25%
The changes were 10% or less in the reported groups:
Liberal Democrats 0%; D 2%
Conservative & Moderate Democrats 10%: 10%
And, of course,
All Democrats 8%; D 9%
The other small drops were, like these, small because the original support ws low.
Blacks 9%; D 8%
All Non-white 7%; D 5%
Union households disapproval 9%
Seculars disapproval 9%
The exception is:
Women under 50, whose disapproval rating increased from 48% to 56%, a mere 8 points.
