Recent allegations of Coulter plagiarizing the language of sources in her newest "book" (I use the term loosely, only because it has pages, print and a binding) have been recorded by Rude Pundit. He takes a couple of sentences from the first chapter of "Godless" and compares them to suspiciously similar passages from sources printed over thirty years ago.
Two sentences in the first chapter doesn't bode well for the rest of the book, but I have a plan if any Kossacks out there can help me...see below
I'm a college writing professor, and I routinely catch my students plagiarizing by using a web site called Turnitin.com. I upload the digital files of their papers, and Turnitin automatically compares the text to the entire web (including papers you can purchase and download). It's amazing how well this works.
Now, I'd love to do this for Coulter's book. All I'd need is a Word file with the text, or even portions of the text. If anyone out there has access to such files, we may well be able to document not just two but dozens if not more such "borrowings" and finally sew this raving idiot's lips together forever.
Anyone with me?
