The scariest line in the article is: "But suppressing evidence is too high of a penalty, Scalia said, for errors by police in failing to properly announce themselves." This goes against virtually every single Court decision in the last century- that if a search is illegal, the evidence gained from that search cannot be used. If any evidence, even that which is collected illegally, why bother having rules on searches?
