She really is an inspirational candidate and just a fabulous person who's running because she believes she can make a real difference as the representative for the people of MD-04. She will fight for progressive values and working families. I urge you to donate to her campaign -- she needs to raise a substantial amount of money to really challenge Al Wynn and his corporate donors. Let's send a real progressive to Congress from a true blue district!
She should be a Netroots supported candidate!!!!
Also, (from Peace Action Montgomery):
"Peace is Patriotic" rally on Sunday, July 2, at 3:00, 17715 Meetinghouse Road, Sandy Spring. Get inspired by Granny Jailbirds! Meet Donna Edwards, peace candidate for congressional district 4. Help kick off the Peace Voter Pledge Campaign in Montgomery County. And--have some fun and listen to some great music. A terrific rhythm and blues group from DC, BTNP, will get us moving. We hope you can come, and if you do, you'll be glad that you did. (No charge!)
