Amendment XIV
Section 1
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
If corporations can use this to call themselves a person, why do they have more friendly bankruptcy laws than individuals?
Why are there laws banning homosexuals from marriage when there are laws allowing marriage to heterosexuals?
Why is my state trying to pass a law to require photo id to vote, when a large percentage of the population does not possess such?
Is this just too simple and straightforward a section of the Constitution for Conservatives to understand?
I'm sure I could add more questions to this list, but the thought just popped into my mind...
Additional questions related to non-citizens...
Illegal Immigrants are still persons within State and US Jurisdiction even if not citizens, aren't they?
US Army bases are US jurisdiction, aren't they?
