Democratic 2nd District U.S. House candidate Paul Hodes raised $343,000 in the second quarter of the year and will report having $443,000 on hand, his campaign says. Quarterly campaign finance reports are due at the Federal Election Commission on July 15. Hodes spokesman Dana Houle said that since the beginning of the election cycle following the 2004 election, Hodes has raised $323,000 from New Hampshire donors. "We've now raised more money from New Hampshire donors than anybody ever has in the district, more than any of the Democrats and more than Charlie Bass ever has from New Hampshire donors," Houle said. Incumbent Republican Charles Bass's campaign this week said Bass will report about $450,000 on hand after raising about $200,000 in the quarter.
