Great news for those hoping Minnesota holds onto this Democratic Senate seat. The Star Tribune released a
poll showing Amy Kobuchar with a 19 point lead over GOP candidate Mark Kennedy.
DFL Senate candidate Amy Klobuchar has opened up a strong early lead over GOP rival Mark Kennedy in a Minnesota Poll that shows Klobuchar with 50 percent of likely voters' support, compared with 31 percent for Kennedy.
More below.
Mark Kennedy is trailing in nearly every category.
People with incomes $100,000 or more?
Klobuchar: 56
Kennedy: 31
Men
Klobuchar: 44
Kennedy: 40
Women
Klobuchar: 54
Kennedy: 25
Moderate Political Ideology
Klobuchar: 52

As the article says, the only categories in which Mark Kennedy leads are likely voters aged 18-24, Republicans, and those identifying themselves as Conservative.
It's still relatively early and Mark Kennedy has a history of going negative early to make up ground, but this is GREAT news for Democrats, especially once name recognition kicks in.

Mark Kennedy | 37 | 27 | 19 | 16 |
Amy Klobuchar | 47 | 12 | 13 | 28 |
