Who me? Panic?
Nah. I'm gellin'.
And telling.
The use of "Panic as a Distraction" is a frequent tactic of choice by the Bush Administration.
Or, as so deemed by MSNBC's Keith Olbermann of Countdown fame...just good ole, Grade A Terror Politics.
Funny how terror alerts just happen to coincide with major events that cause Americans to turn off American Idol, place thinking caps on heads and ponder, "Hey, what the heck is going on here?"
The Lieberman loss is just one example.
Switch from Dancing with the Stars to CNN.
Thinking cap adjusted. Cerebellum engaged. Focus.
"Hey, what the heck???? Lieberman lost? What? When? Who? How?"
Zoink.
Twenty-four British citizens accused of planning massive suicide missions against U.S.-bound airplanes arrested.
Terror Alert. Incite high level fear among traveling U.S. citizens. Worry loved ones waiting at home. All eyes view 24 hour news coverage.
Brainwash airline crowd into turning over carry-on items and do so with minimal resistance.
Make-up, contact lens solution, Rogaine, water, breastmilk, wine, wine, and more wine transform airport wastebaskets into a homeless person's Quickie Mart.
Lieberman who?
One sticky little point.
Many of these "terrorists" had no passport OR plane tickets. According to a high level British official, an attack was not imminent.
The coup de grace? Apparently the U.S. pressured the Brits to "take down" the no-passport, no-airline ticket suspects.
To quote an aviation source close to this blogger: "For that, the whole world was shut down."
Bush issued the same tired rebuttal that accompanies any criticism outside his bubble of his world called,"YES, Mr. Bush. Whatever you decide, Mr. Bush."
Deny, kiss up, distract, war on terror, feign solidarity, bring plotters to justice, protect the children, thousand points of light, red, white, and blue, wave flag, stay the course, weapons of mass destruction, blah, blah, blah.
Ever heard of psychological terrorism?
You-we-I-All...
...have been victimized by the Prez and all the Prez's men...the very same team who wrote the book on "Breaking Federal Law for Dummies."
Political hypnotism. Psychologically abused.
Or in plain simple English.
You've been fooled, fool.
What's next? Yellow stars sewn to our clothes?
Thread your needle with this.
Time to start gellin'.
And telling.
We're fed up and not taking this anymore.
