Most of you are probably aware of the DCCC's
Candidate for Change contest running now. The DCCC is asking you to vote for your favorite three candidates to help them direct support. If you haven't already voted and aren't sure who to vote for, might I ask you to consider writing in Clint Curtis (FL-24) in the "Other" box? You can still vote for two others. Clint really needs the recognition and if he can get some DCCC assistance, it would be great!
Clint has good progressive stances on all issues, but he's definitely strongest on fair and honest elections. He's the computer programmer whose firm was asked by none other than Tom Feeney, an Abramoff beneficiary, to design a program that could easily and invisibly alter votes in electronic voting machines. Clint has testified before Congress on this matter; you can read the complete details at
BradBlog and
Clint Curtis for Congress. And if you can spare a few dollars, please send them his way too.
I'm a volunteer for the campaign and really appreciate your support, as does Clint and the whole team. Let's get rid of Feeney and send someone to Congress who believes honest elections are essential to a free and democratic society.
