Have Joe Biden and the other Wal-Mart bashers undergone a political lobotomy? We have an election coming up that has the potential to de-nut that nut in the White House. We are threatened with loss of civil rights, personal freedoms, privacy, net neutrality, the national treasury...there is a very real fascist coup d'etat taking place.
We are in a situation where we must put together a coalition of voters who do not like or trust Bush any more and want limits placed on his disastrous adventurism. Do the elite geniuses in the Dem party think that attacking Wal-Mart will do anything but piss off the Nascar voters we need?! This is a strategy that is so stupid and so self-defeating that the Dems who take this path need to lose...ought to lose...just as an earned consequence of routine political IQ testing.
Of course I do not shop at Wal-Mart. Of course I viciously attack any of my friends and family (hardly any.... surprise!)who would admit to such a thing. But you know what, bubba, you vote against the Repugs and you can shop wherever the hell you want. go ahead...screw your own economic pooch if you're that stupid.
Yes. Wal-Mart is evil. But it's not as evil as having Repugs control Congress for the foreseeable future!
So this is the Dem answer to the fascist challenge, when the army, the treasury, the MSM, the courts, the Congress, and the TFMs (total fucking morons), are solidly lined up against us. And they are attacking Wal-Mart -- one of the most popular institutions in the country? This is such puerile lunacy.
It is yet another example of establishment elite insiders (who are just incidentally Democrats) derailing any kind of real change so that they can continue to enjoy their perqs, golf games, insider trading, and revolving door enrichment ...While making us progressives feel warm and fuzzy all over.
They don't want to voice the real message because they are in cahoots...So instead of saying: "If you don't trust Bush and want genuine oversight, vote Dem," they are fumbling with this loser messaging that only ensures they will lose some more--and keep their comfortable, cashmere-lined status quo.
No wonder the public doesn't trust the Dems any more than they do the Repugs. They are all part of the same idiotic bs conversation that makes up today's public agenda.
