Having recently returned from a week on the Gulf, and fresh from viewing Spike Lee's Requiem, I thought I couldn't get
any more depressed than I already was. A year after Katrina, both New Orleans and the Gulf Coast are
unprepared to handle anything more than a rain squall.
Actually, a rain squall is already too much for NO's clogged storm drains..
Then I hear a brief mention on the radio this morning of a new tropical depression that may affect the Lesser Antilles.... so I head over to the NOAA website, and what do I see? (okay, so this is updated now...)

Sweet Jaysus, let it turn or blow itself out... Anyone know what General Honore's doing for Labor Day??
