In a priceless bit of photojournalism,
The Durango Herald showcases another case of "GOP Candidate Caught On Film, Confirming Rumors".
Early in the Republican Gubenatorial primary campaign, Congressman Bob Beauprez (CO-7, R-Tom Delay) was labelled "Both Ways Bob" by his opponent, Marc Holtzman, for his supposedly wishy-washy stand on the popular Referendum C (the referendum which suspended TABOR restrictions). It was Holtzman's lasting contribution to the race. And now Beauprez himself has been caught confirming his nickname - on "film".
I expect the Bill Ritter campaign to be purchasing rights to that image and plastering it around later in the season where they think it will do the most "good". I'll say this about Colorado's elections this year - they've been entertaining. The Beauprez campaign in particular seems to be adept at shooting itself in the facefoot.
