The various emails that I have received all suggest writing to Steve Iger, the president of ABC TV.
But I have another idea. Steve Jobs is the single biggest shareholder of ABC. Steve Jobs' Pixar is distributed by Disney. Steve Jobs is (with the purchase of Pixar by Disney) the largest shareholder in the Disney corporation with 138 million shares.
I think if Steve Jobs understood what the internet community felt about this documentary, he might exert some influence.

Jobs is a Director and not an executive officer of the company. But he is not just any director. In any corporate environment that I know, a simple telephone call asking "why are we doing this?" would have a serious "chilling effect" (don't you love that phrase?).
So why don't we let Steve know that we're going to think twice about those fancy new macs and the extra iPod for christmas? and whether we'll buy the tickets to the Pixar animated special? Why don't we let him know that he's got a stake?
And Here's Another Angle! Capital Research is a huge institutional money management firm, and one of the top institutional shareholders in Disney. CapRe (as they are affectionately known on Wall Street) can be influenced. The action list above lists this contact info ...
