Mr. King posted here regularly -- often daily -- for quite a few months regarding his legal battle with the Jaffrey NH police department.
Christopher King, 40, was charged last year with two counts of felony extortion. The charges stem from letters King allegedly sent to Jaffrey Police Chief Martin J. Dunn in December, while a volunteer with the Nashua Chapter of the NAACP. Dunn also alleges King acted as a lawyer, even though he lost his license to practice law in 2002.
Word comes today that all charges against him have been dismissed:
According to court documents, acting County Attorney William Cleary dismissed all the charges Thursday.

Since King's ordeal began, both the Jaffrey Police Chief and the Cheshire County Prosecutor have been placed on administrative leaves, with the reasons not made public. Mr. King's reputation appears to be in better shape that theirs.
