Well, there he goes again. The dickhead GWB has once again pissed on the memory of 911 by taking the 5th anniversary to talk about how great the war in Iraq, the deprivation of our civil liberties, and the degradation of our moral authority in the eyes of the entire world have been.

This man can only survive by praying on the fears of a painfully uninformed American people.  Is it possible that we have finally gotten wise to this scam or will it work yet again?

What do you think?  Take the poll....

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

that they would want to link Iraq with WOT because his ratings for Iraq are are lower than the terror ratings.

I'm too disgusted right now to think of a sig.

I actually listened to GWB's speech. Usually, I can't bring myself to listen to him. The one time he shouldn't have been political, he was. It was shameless propaganda for the Iraq war.

He has no chance otherwise.  He has to link them and still be able to deny that he's linked them. All I can think of is the lyrics to Tightrope by Leon Russell:
    I'm up on the tightwire
one side's ice and one is fire
its a circus game with you and me
    I'm up on the tightrope
one side's hate and one is hope
but the tophat on my head is all you see
And the wire seems to be
    the only place for me
    a comedy of errors
    and I'm falling

    **Chorus**
    Like a rubber-neck giraffe
    you look into my past
well maybe you're just to blind to - see
    I'm up in the spotlight
    ohh does it feel right
    ohh the altitude
    seems to get to me

    I'm up on the tightwire
flanked by life and the funeral pyre
    putting on a show
    for you to see

    **Chorus**
    Like a rubber-neck giraffe
    you look into my past
well maybe you're just too blind to - see
    I'm up in the spotlight
    ohh does it feel right
    ohh the altitude
really gets to get to me

    I'm up on the tightwire
flanked by life and the funeral pyre
putting on a show for you to see
