Well here we go folks.. The polls in the Ocean State just closed, and the local news here is live on C-SPAN2.
I will try to update this thread as news becomes available and the returns come in. So far, the word is on the Republican side is that there was a VERY heavy turnout from independents in Cranston and Warwick, the two hometowns for Laffey and Chafee, respectively. However, reports from the rest of the state are that the turnout was EXTREMELY low.
My personal experience when I voted: I was literally there for 3 minutes. While there, three other people came in. I got a blue card (Democrat Primary), they all got yellow ones (Republican). This should be an INTERESTING night folks.
