Around 100 supporters of Jim Webb and George Allen (evenly divided?) were up bright and early this morning at NBC's studios in Washington, DC to greet their respective candidates as they arrived for the Webb-Allen Meet the Press debate today. Interestingly, the Allen supporters were all from one group of American University College Republicans (I asked them). Last time I checked, American University was not located in our fair Commonwealth. The Webb supporters were almost all from Virginia. Interesting...

[UPDATE: OK, I just finished watching the debate, and I agree that Jim Webb did very very well. I'm going to take a little time now and try to come up with something semi-intelligent to say on all this. :)]
[UPDATE #2: For what they're worth, my thoughts on the debate are posted at Raising Kaine.]
[UPDATE #3: Allen campaign spin alert! Allen campaign spin alert! See here for their baloney du jour.]
