Small wonder Ohio is a battleground state. It's got more nuts in it than just buckeyes.
CNN is reporting that a Mitsubishi dealer was planning to air
an ad that declared a "jihad" on the U.S. auto market and that's not all:
The Council on American-Islamic Relations Sunday had complained publicly about plans for a commercial it said would have proclaimed a "jihad" on the U.S. auto market, offering "Fatwa Fridays" with sales representatives giving play swords to children.
It's beyond me to think of anything creative, or funny, or sarcastic to write here. I'm just depressed that I share Amerika with these sorts of creatures:
The statement from the dealership, Dennis Mitsubishi in Columbus, said, "A large number of people have contacted us. Lots of them have seen the humor we were trying to convey, but far too many were clearly bothered by it. This was simply an attempt at humor that fell short."
No, there's no humor here, none at all. It reminds me of something else hateful that was a part of our culture. Prepare yourselves, I mean seriously prepare yourselves for a shock when you visit the web site of The Museum of Racist Memorabilia at Ferris State University.
Why would anyone keep a collection of such hateful, hurtful things? So we know where to put the new ones that assholes in Ohio invent.
