I would. They should torture terrorists on pay-per-view. I'd pay. Terrorists deserve what they get, if you ask me.
I have fantasies of seeing terrorists tortured - vivid fantasies. I would start by injecting pig's blood into their eyes with ridiculously large needles. I'd use their balls as speed bags. Actually, I wouldn't, but I would pay to see it.
I'd pay to see the terror on their face as they were pulled up out of a tank of water, thinking for certain that they would drown.
I'd pay to see their toes smashed with sledge hammers, their fingernails ripped off with pliers. They're the enemy, after all.
I'd pay to see someone drive a Buick up a terrorist's ass. I'd pay to see electrodes hung on their nuts.
I'd pay to see them eat dog shit. I'd pay to see rats feast on their exposed intestines.
I'd pay to witness the bastards get what they deserve, as they were burned with cigars, or branded with 800 degree irons.
Of course, I would be appalled if it turned out that one of these terrorists were actually innocent. That's the real problem with torture. I've been watching the debates and the Republicans keep saying over and over again how our "interrogation techniques" are saving lives and that these are "cold blooded killers" we're talking about.
Not once have I heard anything, not one word about innocent people being hurt by this pending legislation. What about them? We're giving this evil, fucked up administration power not just to torture terrorists, but to torture innocent people, as well. Anyone who he deems to be an enemy combatant can be detained and tortured. That includes me, my wife, my children and you.
So yeah, I'd pay to see a terrorist tortured. We all would.
hink
Update: I have a bit of an explanation if you were offended by the diary. It's down thread a bit (a response to Dreaming of Better Days), but here is what it says:
Okay, as it's been pointed out, I could've done a better job writing this diary. However, it's written and off the recent diaries list, so there wouldn't be much of a point.
I guess what I was trying to do was acknowledge the fact that there are people who would love to see terrorists treated this way. At times, I've felt this way, and that's the emotion Republicans play off of. All day they've been on about how the terrorists are treated nicer than how they'd treat us, the terrorists want to kill us, the terrorists are less than human, blah, blah, blah.
They are controlling the debate because not one Democrat has brought up Arar, or the possibility that a number of innocent people could be hurt by this pending legislation. Not once have they said, "Do you trust the President to make the decisions on who is innocent or who is guilty when he didn't even know that Iraq did not attack us on 9/11?
So anyway, I tried a clumsy juxtaposition. It worked for some, but not for others. Thanks for being polite.
