I have read some of the transcripts at
http://blogs.abcnews.com/....
This goes far beyond politics.
If these transcripts are authentic (and this needs to be thoroughly and appropriately investigated to protect Foley's civil rights), they are evidence of felony child sexual abuse. The kind that makes one a registered sex offender. This needs to be investigated by the various Attorneys General, brought before the appropriate grand juries, and--if appropriate--prosecuted.
But...
Who knew about these allegations and covered them up (presumably allowing another class of pages to be endangered)?
Is it a crime to know of sexual child abuse and not report it?
If any of the individuals who oversee the congressional page program knew of the allegations, could they be charged with pandering, or child endagerment?
