FBI monitors the lurkers to protect US swine

Thu Jan 26, 2006 at 09:23:27 PM PDT

this story brings to light in a rather stark fashion exactly how out of control our government is. We are now spying on vegans.  distain the consumption of meat and pay the consequenses. These radical activists dare to picket our nationally protected pork industry. yikes. here is the video. Oh and by the way - it's not a BAD thing to have your name listed in a FBI file. wow. aren't you relieved?
given what we see here, and in other reports of government intel on domestic targets, we have no reason to give the benefit of the doubt or not suspect that the NSA is mis-using it's terrorist monitoring program. [don't dare call it domestic spying....]
anyway - check out the bushco style of fighting the lurking terrorists in order to keep society safe.

Scary, scary vegans...ever prepare dinner for one of those people?

I'm snarking here as I know the person in that story very well and she is a great activist on many fronts.

I guess I'm definitely under surveillence too, now.  LOL...thanks, Caitlin.

When do I get to vote on your marriage?

'gradualism' anymore. Nakita Kruchev in a famous speech said the US would fall to gradualism, the gradual erosion of civil rights as our government (inevitably) shifted slowly towards fascism to rein in dissent.

That was nearly fifty years ago and now here it is...

    Parties divide, movements unite.
