Thank you, Senator John Kerry

Senator Kerry,
  This is a sincere thank you for everything that you did today.  It is a continued wake up call to show who Democrats are and what they stand for.

  Thank you for leading the charge in favor of filibustering Judge Alito.  I'm sorry that we don't have the numbers to do it but I have faith that we will take back the Senate and the House come this November.

  Please continue doing what you are doing in the United States Senate.  We only have three more years of this guy.

PS: While I am currently backing someone else in 2008 at the moment, I will continue to support any petitions that come my way.  It is important that, no matter who we endorse, that Democrats are united on every front no matter where we stand on the issues.  I voted for you in 2004 and was proud to do so.

    This site spends a lot of time saying that Democrats have to stand up and fight. When they do, we should notice.  I just wish it had been more of a diary and less of a love letter.

    But in the end, it's a positive thing and I recommend this diary. Snark will get us exactly nowhere in 2008 but like I said, I understand your gut reaction. I do.

  This is an extremely important vote. If you take out Alito, I will have to love you again. But please be different than the guy we knew in 2004. Stand up and fight these thugs all the time. Please give no ground and stand up for what you believe in. Backing down in 2004 when it was OBVIOUS the election was stolen, again, just took way too much out of me. Can I trust you again? Really? Can I love you again? Will I end up hating you again too? Why do I think I'm still being played. OK, I love you for now.
