The wingnuts are "outraged" at Kos. Just we understand what's outrageous and what's not...
ACCORDING TO WINGNUT VALUES...
OUTRAGEOUS -- Bringing up the fact that five American soldiers were killed the same day some highly paid mercernaries were killed. Refusing to let those five deaths go unmourned, even if the Bush Administration won't acknowledge them, won't mourn them -- will in fact do everything possible to pretend they didn't happen, to preserve the happy-face fiction that "creeping democracy" is taking hold in Iraq and that everything over there is peachy-keen nifty, even as the country tilts toward civil war.
NOT OUTRAGEOUS -- The President "goofing" publicly about the fact that his reason for putting American soldiers in harm's way turned out to be false. American combat deaths as fodder for a comedy routing -- no problem.
NOT OUTRAGEOUS --Selectively de-classifying documents (this from an Administration obsessed with secrecy) to smear a patriot and truth-teller like Richard Clarke
NOT OUTRAGEOUS -- Attending a zillion fund-raisers but not a single military funeral. Refusing to show military funerals, or publicly acknowledge the deaths.
NOT OUTRAGEOUS -- Comparing the combat deaths of American soldiers to routine traffic and violent crime deaths in the United States, to show how well things are going.
NOT OUTRAGEOUS -- "Outting" a CIA official involved in the hunt for WMD to show others in the CIA what the thugs in the White House will do to those who don't kowtow.
Just so we understand what is and isn't outrageous...
