Josh Hafenbrack and Anthony Mann of the South Fla. Sun-Sentinel are reporting this morning that what south Fla. Republicans are saying about Foley sounds kinda-sorta like what Foley said about Bill Clinton:
"It's vile," Mark Foley, R-Jupiter, told the St. Petersburg Times. "It's more sad than anything else, to see someone with such potential throw it all down the drain because of a sexual addiction."
Back in 2003, Hafenbrack and Anthony Mann report, Foley condemned a Tampa nudist camp for 11- to 18-year-olds, run by the American Association for Nude Recreation, and called on Florida officials to investigate.
But he had good things to say about cybersex:
"With Internet porn and child modeling, those things typically are going on at least between the filter of a computer," Foley said at the time. "But in this particular situation, you're actually putting these children together with adults."
