Bob Woodward's latest bombshell, that Tenet warned Condi on July 10, 2001 that Bin Laden was plotting something serious, has led to some interesting questions regarding Rice's conduct.
But...
We have also found out that it looks like the 9/11 commission was never told about the meeting or they would have pursued it. This from the Post -
"The July 10 meeting of Rice, Tenet and Black went unmentioned in various investigations into the Sept. 11 attacks, and Woodward wrote that Black 'felt there were things the commissions wanted to know about and things they didn't want to know about.' "Jamie S. Gorelick, a member of the Sept. 11 commission, said she checked with commission staff members who told her investigators were never told about a July 10 meeting. 'We didn't know about the meeting itself,' she said. 'I can assure you it would have been in our report if we had known to ask about it.'
So check out Tenet's submitted testimony. Mention of the crucial meeting is noticeably absent.

I'm pretty sure Tenet probably had some classified testimony with the commission (anybody know for sure?), but why was this not brought up? Why does it come out now?
Nor is it in Cofer Black's submitted testimony

Why not? Seems important, doncha think?
And why would it come out now via Woodward? Knowing his contacts and description of the meeting its likely that his source was either Black ot Tenet or both. Were they pressured not to talk?
Dems should call for reconvening the 9/11 commission to set the record straight.
