Ned Lamont needs to remind voters in strong terms how he differs from Joe Lieberman. I have heard him speak several times in person and he did not provide three or four good reasons why voters should support him.
At one time Lieberman represented Connecticut. He changed. Now he has moved to the right, sounding more like a Texas senator than a Connecticut senator.
Lamont should emphasize that Lieberman no longer represents the views of Connecticut:
* He is wrong on the war.
* He is wrong on the torture bill.
* He is wrong on issues affecting women and abortion.
* He is wrong on privatizing Social Security.
Connecticut needs a senator who represents Connecticut not Texas.
