I can't
believe this isn't on Dkos. If it is? Tell me and I'll dump this diary. No matter what, you HAVE to WATCH this video. Yikes.
The programmer, Clint Curtis, testifies about the secret and SIMPLE program he wrote--100 lines of code--that can rig the election. The little description at the site says it all: "Computer Programmer testifies that Tom Feeney (Speaker of the House of Florida at the time, currently US Representative representing MY district) tried to pay him to rig election vote counts." You don't understand, we don't want to find it, we have to hide the fraud, he was told. . .
I found this on Andrew Tobias's site. And it scares the heck out of me. Why aren't more people raising hell? The testimony should be on at least A5 of every newspaper. Did it at least make it in Florida newspapers? And if it did, how come I can't find the dkos diaries?
I swear, I hope someone points me in the direction of about a thousand diaries about this.
updated with information from the comments:
rage's comment: "Clint Curtis, the man who testified, is now running against Tom Feeny for his seat. Check out his website and you'll see that it's one of his issues.
Why it hasn't been bigger news is beyond me."
cobalt points out this bradblog link to a series of stories about Curtis. It's an old story, but I think it's worth watching the video anyway. Hearing someone calmly describe the process is just amazing.
pattyp been writing about Curtis for a while. Read her diaries here.
jknapp wrote "FYI, this video is an excerpt of the one I shot at the U.S. Congressional Forum in Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 13, 2004. The full-length version (1:37:20) includes testimony from several other people, including the late Bill Moss. See it at www.archives.org.
Curtis' testimony begins at the 1:20:00 mark."
shakti points to this story written in February 2005.
