Yes,
I am writing yet another essay on Dennis Hastert, but I will spare the bloody details about the pages and Mark Foley. As you all know by now Dennis Hastert held a press conference. Once again, he has proven and shown us all that he fails to understand basic responsibility issues that all of our mothers taught us years ago.
Denny appears ready, willing, and able to play the blame game, instead of accept the consequences for his actions. He seems more than willing to try and shift responsibility of the whole foley affair onto his subordinates. I see this often in the military, and frankly I think it exemplifies a poor style of leadership, and is indicative of a personality type that pictures themselves above the law and accountable to nobody, not even God. This is what he said about his staff:
If they did cover something up, then they should not continue to have their jobs.
I wonder if next he will fire himself for covering this all up. This should prove rather interesting watching this self centered party function in the next few days.
In other news, I will say that I called my brother again today. He had just gotten off the phone with a man and his lawyer making some incredible claims about Denny. I am not going to elaborate what was said or whom, although if you who read these posts and work for Denny Hastert really want to know you could order up an investigation with the warrantless wiretapping program at the NSA. Hmmm...Or maybe you could just ask your boss-What could you have possibly done that will be more damaging than Mark Foley? The game is over Denny You could have packed it up with dignity like I suggested in August, but you insist upon still sharing a bed with Big Oil, Big Casinos, Jack Abramoff, and George Bush. I do have one question for ya denny-What does your wife say about having all those lobbyists in your bed? Is it crowded? What I mean is-that sure seems like a strange bit of family values to me.
On a more personal note, Since you are my congressman-I have yet to receive my absentee ballot in the mail, even though I requested it in July. I am now due to leave beautiful Iraq and they have stopped the mail so, barring an invasion of Iran Mr. Hastert, I do plan to be home on November 7, 2006 and will vote in person. I do recommend though that at your age, you don't hold your breath and wait for me to vote for ya.
