Those who know me know I spend a lot of time deconstructing Charlie Bass' (Rubber Stamp-NH) supposed indypendence.

I can take a vacation now, because Bass is toast.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet New Hampshire's Mr. Macaca:

Bass on Bernie Sanders and his supporters:

"Oh, it's going to be nice not to have Hugo Chavez across the Connecticut river, representing Vermont at large.  Bernie Sanders and his Sandernistas, go back to taxi driving in the Bronx of New York City, where they came from to begin with".

WATCH THE VIDEO (major hat tip to Keener)

See also Keener's dKos post, which I hoped would make the  recommended list (thus my second attempt).

Folks, let's get the word out on this: Charlie Bass likes to campaign by race-baiting.  This video will ruin the essence of his pretend persona of moderate independence.

And that's not all.

According to Bass, Foley just made a "mistake".

And we are in Iraq because of it having 40% of the world's oil reserves (yes, he actually admitted that fact in support of Iraq).

And all that fighting in Iraq is Al Qaeda; not a word about the sectarian violence.

It's going to take a week just to get through all the lies and red-meat this fake moderate spewed out at this dinner he thought would be for Republican eyes only.

But back to the matter at hand: "go back to taxi driving in the Bronx".  Am I being overly sensitive here, because my family came from the Bronx, or is this flat out racism?

Please, friends. Let's put Paul Hodes in the House.  It's time for honest leadership.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
