The Sickening Thwack of Skull Cracking On Pavement Becomes

the steady wet thump and smack smack smack of splayed skin mixed with brain matter against the concrete sidewalk. Had it not been for the hand on shoulder of my best friend, that is most likely what I would have experienced. Well, experienced is too sensory a word, because the one time I lost violent control of myself there was no immediate experience. It was a delicious flash of overwhelming electricity. No thoughts entered or exited my brain just a constant rage, blinding and almost coma like. Exhilirating.
Upon waking up from my friends pull, I was sickened by what I had become, by what I was capable of doing. Killing would have been easy in that moment. The reason for it was related to love/anger, jealousy, insecurity and so much more, but the details are not important.
How this relates to us below...
What is important is that what I felt is what we as a collective of leaders in the Progressive movement (Yes, I said leaders. Whether you want to admit it or not everyone reading this dairy is a leader. An early adopter of our creed and beliefs, and way for transforming our world from one that cares only for individuals and gives a shit about each other) must feel right now.
We must feel a singular focus upon destruction of everything Republicans stand for. We must feel the rush of anger and the loss of sensory existence. We must inhale the electricity and absorb it in to our core. I am going to do it for Zach (my baby boy). I am not suggesting physical violence, but I am suggesting a violent rush of overwhelming support and work for what we believe and for what we must do at all cost to destroy their last shred of hope and "dignity" (such as it is).
That to me is what Devilstower is really saying in this diary: http://www.dailykos.com/...
Are you ready to let go? It can only be accomplished by letting go of all boundaries and allowing yourself to be sucked into the vortex of andrenaline, excitement, and freedom that will come from the steady thump, thump, thump of the Republican party's brain against the pavement of truth.
Do you have what it takes?
