Fl gubernatorial Rep candidate Charlie Crist. The Florida GOP. Opposition candidate Max Linn. Emergency landing of Linn's rented Cessna 172.
Sounds like the plot of a political best seller.
Max Linn, Reform Party candidate, recently landed his piloted plane on a busy stretch of the Orlando I-4 corridor.
The former flight instructor has been extremely vocal about Crist's closeted gay lifestyle.
Linn, who earned a degree in Aviation from Louisiana Tech, was alone on the plane.
Max Lin outted Crist on Orlando radio show
WFLA-AM 540, September 2006. indicating "he would `put my hand on a stack of Bibles' to say Crist is gay."
Nothing is more dangerous to the civil rights of everyday America than a hypocritical closeted politician with affiliation to the Republican party-a party with an anti-gay agenda.
What voters see in Crist is not what voters will get.
As to Crist's being gay, 'Linn claimed to know this because he and Crist were in the same 1985 class of Leadership St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce program. `We discussed it,' Linn said. Linn ... said if Crist were to win, he would be subject to extortion and blackmail. In the next breath, Linn said he would avoid mudslinging but that Crist's personal life is a special case because it's about integrity. --The Wayne Madsen Report http://www.waynemadsenreport.com/...
All good political conspiracists worth their weight know these Banana Republic Rethugs will do anything and everything to "keep the GOP legacy alive".
Which causes one to ponder what most would think unimaginable, but hey, I'll toss out a hypothetical.
Is tinkering with the engine of a rented Cessna-or a rented Jag-or a rented ricksaw for that matter- beyond Republican scruples?
That's for the reader to determine.
However-
Is doing anything and everything to keep power beneath these Soprano types?
The GOP not only recently covered for Foley, but recent reports indicate Karl Rove strong-armed the now-disgraced Florida Congressman out of retiring from the political game-a sort of reverse "outting".
The New Republic reported 10/12/2006 that Foley got the "shaft" more than once from the White House. After expressing a desire to retire from Congress and set up a lobbying firm on K Street, George W. Bush's chief adviser Karl Rove told Foley that if he did not run again for Congress, Rove would ensure that Foley's lobbying business failed.--The New Republic http://www.tnr.com/...
I just report the links.
I offer ideas to ponder.
You draw your own conclusions and point your own fingers
One thing's for certain.
These guys eat their own.
