At a Jim Webb event in Washington, VA (the town originally surveyed by George Washington), Jim offered his ideas about how to clean up the mess in Iraq. It was a great event in a beautiful part of the world. Host Ben "Cooter" Jones had his say too.

Ben Jones's home is in the Shenandoah Valley, about a 3 hour drive from Washington DC. Virginia is a beautiful state -- and this is one of the loveliest parts of the state. The house itself is a log cabin. The oldest part was built in the 1740s and there have been many additions since.
The day was just about perfect. About 600 people made the trip and many of them brought food. So it in addition to being a day of political discourse, it was also a potluck. The pastry table was a feast!
There were lots of kids there, with a creek where they could skip flat stones. Everyone seemed to enjoy the afternoon, including the Ben Jones Garage Band which provided some great music.
The video presents some regional atmospherics and local music. Then it turns to the serious political speeches, including an impassioned talk by Ben Jones. Jim Webb then shared his thoughts about what we need to do about Iraq. The video ends with more shots of the event -- the food, the kids, the crowd -- and ends with Jones' original song, "Take Me Back to Rappahonneck."
