Bush Buys Land in Northern Paraguay

Buenos Aires, Oct 13 (Prensa Latina) An Argentine official regarded the intention of the George W. Bush family to settle on the Acuifero Guarani (Paraguay) as surprising, besides being a bad signal for the governments of the region.Luis D Elia, undersecretary for the Social Habitat in the Argentine Federal Planning Ministry, issued a memo partially reproduced by digital INFOBAE.com, in which he spoke of the purchase by Bush of a 98,842-acre farm in northern Paraguay, between Brazil and Bolivia.
D Elia considered this Bush step counterproductive for the regional power expressed by Presidents Nestor Kirchner, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Evo Morales, Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

The official pointed out that this situation could cause a hypothetical conflict of all the armies in the region, and called attention to the Bush family habit of associating business and politics.
Holy cow, a 98,842-acre farm? In Paraguary? At least he will have somewhere to run to now. But for style points, he should have moved in with the forgotten German families hidden in the hills of Argentina. But where did he get this money? Every business venture I know of concerning Bush was a failure at best.
I wonder if he had to go grovel to his daddy for the money, or sweet talk his mom. But what a funny place to choose for exile, if such a thing happens. This is like a father buying his son a townhouse because said son is now a persona non-grata at the Frat House.
But George, if you need running money or a bus ticket to your hacienda in Paraguay, call me, for the love of Texas I will oblige for the next one leaving town.
UPDATE: Though I always find it amusing to be on the recommended list, I am sure with less than a month till the mid-term election, the slot I am currently manhandling would be better served with analysis or issues concerning voters. Vote Shane Sklar TX-14.
