White House Aproves Of Child Sexual Abuse, Foley Simply Naughty

The White House today came out I favor of the sexual abuse of minors. Press Secretary Tony Snow called the exchanges between Rep. Mark Foley(R-Fl) and underage boys "Simply naughty emails." Let's take a look at some and see if it was naughty or criminal:

Maybe this kind of conversation is common around the Snow household and that is why it just seems a little naughty to him. Snow went on to say that the White House would not call for the resignations of those that covered up Foley's sickness for at least 10 months. It seems that in the republican party there is no such thing as an unacceptable behavior. If Foley had not resigned it looks like the republican leadership would have backed him up and just written off his sexual child abuse as a prank.

•  T'would be outrageous with adult female intern

  If this were to occur with an adult intern of the opposite sex, now that would be worth pursuing.  As it is, a Congressman masturbating while e-chatting with little boys just doesn't make the cut.  Republicans have more important things to prosecute, like consensual sex between adults.

  There's a simple logic to this:  It's MORE important to prosecute Democratic consensual sex between adults because the wrongfulness is less obvious.  Republicans masterbating with children is so obviously wrong that there is MUCH LESS need for the Government to step in and drive this point home for the public.

  or it sure sounds like Tony Snow and his rethug buddies will be perfectly fine if any child predator sends "naughty" emails and IMs to their kids or grandkids. This perfectly fits well into their family values.

  are trying to spin the e-mails as naughty because they think it makes the point that they did not know about the other ones which are much more explicit. If they play down the initial e-mails they think it will look like the weren't negligent bacause they had NO IDEA about the ims.  There is a fellow on msnbc right now doing this.
