So, it seems that most people in the previous diaries think that diaries should cover individual states. Now, one question is should each diary cover each race in that state, or just hot races and possible upsets?
If so, there may very well be states that do not have a diary at all because there are no close races in those states. On the other hand, there may be some states - especially western ones - which may only have one or two good races and can be combined together.
The minus to the above, however, is if a state doesn't have a planned diary, and then a surprise race pops up, what do we do?

Of course, if you think some races should be added, just post them.
In any case, we could do some combination diaries, like putting Alaska and Hawaii together into one diary. Or putting Montana and Idaho together, or New Hampshire and Vermont together, etc.
What do you think?
Update [2006-10-20 15:51:6 by FleetAdmiralJ]: One more thing, if we were to combine states, what's the limit on number of races in a combined diary? Should only states with a single race be combined, or could a state with 2 races be combined with a state with only one race? Also, we should take into consideration how big the race is. For example, Tennessee and Missouri each only have one competitve race - the senate races. Yet those races are probably big enough so that they each warrant their own diary. What do you think?
